Visit to the former Summer Residence of Queen Elisabeth in Gödöllő

The tour takes you to Gödöllõ, the "Hungarian Versailles", located 30 km from Budapest. The palace is one of the most beautiful esembles of Baroque buildings, that was used as the summer residence from the second half of the 19th century, by Francis Joseph I. Emperor of Austria and Hungary and the favourite of his wife, Elisabeth, known as Sissy. The visit includes an interior tour of the splendid building and a tour around the royal gardens with Bower and Pavilion-coffee and cake at the Palace Café. After returning to Budapest, the tour ends at the city centre.
