Danube Bend Tour

A full-day tour to important landmarks of Hungarian history along the river Danube. The tour’s first stop is Visegrád, a formal royal residence directly overlooking the S-bend of the Danube. We continue to Esztergom - interior visit of St.Stephen’s Cathedral, followed by a 3-course lunch. In the afternoon we arrive to Szentendre (guided walk) – a Mediterranean style little artist’s town with shops, museum, cafés and wine cellars. Return to Budapest by Danube river boat – tour concludes at the pier in Budapest, in the center of town.

After the pick-up at your hotel in Budapest, the program starts with a guided walking tour of Kecskemét, followed by a drive to Lajosmizse, where the famous Hungarian horsemen offer an exciting show. After the horsemen’s show, enjoy a carriage ride through the Hungarian plain.
