The competition, organized for the 3rd consecutive year, was a bigger success than ever, seeing more participants entering then in any other year. Compared to 21 participants in 2006, this year there we 40, representing 3, 4, and 5 star hotels. Voting activity also increased by threefold compared to the numbers in 2006, showing that the heightened interest was not limited to just the entry period.
