Owners of Mellow Mood Group were awarded for the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary

On the 8th June, 2012 at 3 pm in the Ministry of National Development owners of the Mellow Mood Group, Mr. Sameer Hamdan and Mr. Zuhair Awad were awarded for the Gold Cross of Merit of Hungary. They were recommended by the Prime Minister.
Mrs. László Németh, Minister of National Development gave the awards to the two Jordanian-born businessmen as recognition for their Hungarian hotel development activities only some days after the opening of Buddha-Bar Hotel Budapest Klotild Palace. Mr. Zaid Naffa, Honorary Consul of Jordan also attended the solemn ceremony.
The hotel group operating 12 hotels in Budapest plays a significant role in the Hungarian hotel industry in developing and improving the conditions of the domestic tourism. The Minister of the National Development emphasized that with their investments, Mr. Zuhair Awad and Mr. Sameer Hamdan created hundreds of new jobs in Budapest and also brought new colour to the hotel selection of the capital. She pointed out the renovation of the Klotild Palace as an outstanding performance of conservation of a historic monumental.
Sameer Hamdan and Zuhair Awad thanked the award to the Prime Minister, Head of State, Consul of Jordan and their colleagues. They said it has been 20 years ago when they started to deal with tourism in Hungary, and said thank you for the Hungarian people for this opportunity. They emphasized that Mellow Mood is like a big family, and the number of their colleagues will reach 800 people soon.
The two experts have already been rewarded in 2010 as the ‘Tourism Investors of the Year'.
